'Prez visit to boost ties'

NEW DELHI: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav’s upcoming India visit is expected to further strengthen the friendly ties that exist between India and Nepal. President Yadav is scheduled to visit India from February 15-18. “India and Nepal share a unique relationship of friendship and cooperation characterised by an open border and deep-rooted people-to-people contacts. The visit of the President of Nepal will further strengthen the friendly ties that exist between India and Nepal,” a press release issued here by the Ministry of External Affairs stated. The MEA has said the visit is in keeping with the tradition of regular high-level interaction between the two countries.
