PM Deuba to attend poll gatherings in western districts from today

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba is scheduled to attend the election related programmes in the western part of the country from today.

According to Nepali Congress Central Election Mobilisation Committee Coordinator Balkrishna Khand, PM Deuba would leave for Nepalgunj on Tuesday. On the same day, PM Deuba is scheduled to hold discussions with the chiefs of security officials and administrative units of the region about the peace and security situation and other issues.

PM Deuba would reach Dhangadhi on Wednesday to meet NC's candidates and leaders.

On the day, he would hold discussion with administrator and security bodies' chiefs of far-western region on the law and order situation.

Prime Minister Deuba would reach his home district, Dadeldhura, on November 16.

According to leader Khand, PM Deuba is scheduled to address the election gatherings in Darchula and Baitadi on November 17.

Likewise, on November 18, the PM would address the poll gatherings in Bajhang and Bajura and also enquire about security situation of these districts from administrators and security agencies.

Moreover, PM Deuba would address the election gatherings in Rukum, Rolpa, Jajarkot, Jumla, Humla and Mugu. However, the dates for the same are yet to be finalised.
