‘PM has improved ties with neighbours’

POKHARA: Minister of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari on Sunday said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli’s visits had helped strengthen relations with India and China.

Addressing the third municipal assembly of Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City in Pokhara, Adhikari said the central government had been able to maintain balanced relations with both China and India. “Both India and China are in favour of development in Nepal,” he said.

The minister said both countries wanted to see happy Nepalis and prosperous Nepal. Minister Adhikari said that the central government had planned to implement big projects across the country. “Federal government will not be engaged in small projects. They will be taken care of by the local and provincial governments,” Adhikari said.

He argued that the development of the country was possible with coordination among the local, provincial and central governments. Adhikari claimed that Pokhara Regional international airport would be completed before the stipulated deadline.
