Prime Minister Oli receives 'Bhaitika' from sisters

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli received 'Bhaitika' from his younger sisters Bishnu Maya Dhakal and Kaushila Devi Koirala at the auspicious hour of 11:55 am on Friday the fifth day of Tihar festival.

After offering tika to the Prime Minister, Dhakal and Koirala put the garland of makhamali (globe amaranth) flower around his neck and expressed their sisterly love to a brother by presenting him with dry fruits including walnut and chestnut, and other delicacies.

The Prime Minister also offered tika to his two sisters and presented them with various gifts

The two sisters also gave tika to the Prime Minister’s spouse Radhika Shakya, their sister-in-law.
