PM Dahal, Baidhya hold talks

Kathmandu, August 13

Prime Minister and Chairman of CPN-Maoist Centre Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Chairman of CPN (Revolutionary Maoist) Mohan Baidhya held a meeting at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on today.

On the occasion, Baidya congratulated Prime Minister Dahal on his election as the new prime minister and wished him a successful term, Dahal’s personal under-secretary Manahari Timilsina said.

According to Timilsina, the two leaders also discussed contemporary political issues and the government’s activities, among other things, at the meeting. Baidhya suggested to Prime Minister Dahal that the government should be vigilant while conducting its works on matters pertaining to nationality and people’s livelihood.

In response, Prime Minister Dahal informed Baidhya that he was serious regarding nationality and that he was going to bring programmes to resolve the day-to-day problems of the people. The PM also said that the government would address the concerns raised by the Madhesi and Janajati communities.
