Private schools to reopen today
Birgunj, December 10 :
Private schools closed for the past five days following a dispute between teachers and the school management committee will reopen from tomorrow.
An agreement to this effect was reached at the meeting between private schools teachers’ union, PABSON, NPABSON, Nepal Human Rights Organisation and Birgunj Jaycees, which was held at the initiative of the Guardians’ Association Nepal, today.
The meeting formed a 15 member commitee, coordinated by president of the Guardians’ Association, Prabin Manandhar, to prepare a report on the 16-point charter of demands put forth by the teachers. Its task is to submit the report within a month.
