KATHMANDU: A three-member probe committee headed by joint secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs has been formed to investigate the incident in which four kids drowned in a ditch.

The committee has Joint Secretary at the Ministry of Physical Construction and Nepal Police DIGP as its members, said Rautahat CDO Uddab Bahadur Thapa quoting the secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs.

The National Human Rights Commission has begun a probe into the incident and has sent an investigation team from its Janakpur-based regional office to the incident site.
