BIRATNAGAR, MAY 31
The District Administration Office, Morang has decided to extend the duration of prohibitory order imposed to tackle the Covid-19 pandemic, till June 7.
The decision was taken bearing in mind the increasing reports of COVID-19 contraction in the district.
Chief District Officer Kosha Hari Niraula today issued a notice regarding the extension of the regulatory period by a week, beginning from today.
The decision to prolong the order was taken as per the Clause 6(3) of the Local Administration Act, 1971, the Infectious Diseases Act, 1964 and the COVID-19 Crisis Management Ordinance, 2021.
