BIRGUNJ: Property worth Rs 300,000 was gutted in a fire that broke out at the house in Parsa district on Saturday night.

The fire reportedly ignited from the ash of the oven inside the house of Ram Ji Sah Kanu of Bhediyari VDC-4.

The fire destroyed property including clothes, utensils and food grains kept inside the house.

The fire was doused by the locals after an effort of around two hours.
