INARUWA: Property worth around Rs 600,000 was gutted in a house fire in Harinagara Rural Municipality-1 last night.

The fire, which broke out at the house belonging to Fudiram Bangali at 1:30 am, had destroyed two neighbouring houses as well, said Deputy Superintendent of Police Prabin Dhital at the Sunsari District Police Office.

Livestock were also destroyed in the fire, he added.

The fire was contained with the help of Nepal Police, Armed Police Force and locals.
