Python found in Jhapa

KAKARBHITTA: A python was found in Bhadrapur Municipality-5 of Jhapa district on Thursday.

The 5.5-foot python was found in a tree in front of the house of Laxman Pradhan.

District Forest Office staff, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force with the help of  locals brought the nonvenomous snake under control. The python weighed 10 kilogram.

Ranger at the District Forest Office, Devendra Upreti, said the python was released in a jungle at Charali in the district.
