Ramche bus accident: Identity of 12 more victims confirmed

DHUNCHE: Police have confirmed the identity of 12 more persons  killed in a bus accident at Ramche VDC-3 along the Pasang Lhamu road section on Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier this morning the identity of 18 persons died in the same accident were confirmed by the police whereas the identity of remaining six victims is yet to be ascertained, according to the District Police Office, Rasuwa.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Abadhesh Bista said that the deceased have been identified as Deepak Chimoriya (29) of Gadimai Municipality-9 in Bara district, Norbu Gengbo (48) and Jitman Gengbo (48) of Samarthali-5, Furpuhomo Tamang (21) of Chilime VDC-9and Laxmi Thing (28) of Bhorle-4 in Rasuwa district.

Similarly, Sudeep Lama (26) of Gatlang-2, Prabesh Lama (29) of Gatlang-6, Sapdol Tamang of Ramche-6 in Rasuwa district, Bharat Gurung (35) and Sudarshan Gurung (27) of Manakamana-4, Nuwakot district,  Nima Tashi Lama (3) of Golchung-5 of Rasuwa district was also killed in the bus accident.

Police informed that Tikam Bahadur Shahi (53) of Rupandehi district, who was working as Secretary at the Dhunche VDC, also died in the accident.

As many as 35 persons, including 12 women and 23 men died on the spot, when a bus heading to Chilime of Rasuwa from the Capital met with an accident at Grang of Ramche VDC in Rasuwa at 1:00 pm on Monday.
