Ramdev to come here in mid-September

Kathmandu, June 2:

Yoga guru Swami Ramdev is scheduled to come to Nepal in mid-September.

Ramdev, during his week-long visit, will teach techniques of meditation to interested people, the Haridwar-based Patanjali Yoga Committee, the organiser of the visit, said today.

A team of the committee has arrived in Nepal to make preparations for the visit. The team leader, Lab Dev Mishra, said today that Swami Ramdev will come to Nepal in mid-September and run meditation classes. “It will be a rare opportunity for us to see him and learn techniques of meditation from him.”

According to Mishra, about 200 teachers will be taught Yoga techniques in the office of the Nepal Ex-Servicemen Association. The teaching session slated to begin on June 5 will last for 11 days.

Teachers thus trained will be sent to Haridwar, where they will undergo training for 11 more days.

“These trained teachers will conduct classes at various places across the country and also assist Swami in running classes during his visits,” Mishra said. He said Nepali followers will get to see Ramdev in Nepali channels soon.
