Rana flays govt on security front

Kathmandu, April 4:

Two days after the Home Ministry issued a deadline to individuals or groups to surrender their illegal arms, Rastriya Prajatantra Party chairman Pashupati SJB Rana today urged the government to enforce its decision “if it is really serious about maintaining law and order in the country”.

“Merely issuing calls or appeals won’t work. The government’s sincerity will be reflected on how it enforces its decision,” Rana told a gathering of trade union workers during the inauguration of the first convention of National Democratic Confederation of Nepalese Trade Union.

He said the government should maintain law and order to ensure a free and fair CA poll.
