RPP an alternative force, says Thapa
Pokhara, December 15
Rastriya Prajatantra Party Central Chairperson Kamal Thapa expressed confidence that the recent unification of former splintered parties would relieve the people frustrated by the lust for power among political parties and the protracted political instability.
Addressing the western-regional level party unification declaration programme between then Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Nepal and Rastriya Prajatantra Party today, Thapa argued the unification was for the economic prosperity and national sovereignty.
Further, pointing out the need of a strong nationalist force in the country Thapa identified the unified party as an alternative force in the country. “The unification is not for securing the chair; its motive is clear, that is to facilitate the country to prosper,” he said.
The anti-secular leader also took the opportunity to censure the major political parties for bringing the country to the present state and stressed the need to retrieve the erstwhile Hindu State identity in order to avert foreseeable religious strife in the country.
