The Rautahat police have received at least 50 oxygen cylinders that were donated by different shop and industry owners in the district.

In a press release issued by the District Police Office, it stated that due to shortage of oxygen cylinders amid overwhelming rise in the cases of COVID-19, various shop and industry owners have collectively donated 50 oxygen cylinders of 7.5 liters capacity each to be provided for relief of patients.

Superintendent of Police (SP) of the Rautahat Police Siddhi Bikram Shah informed that 30 oxygen cylinders were provided for usage at the Gaur Hospital while the remaining cylinders were made available to the COVID-19 Hospital in Chandrapur.

Shah added that the COVID-19 patients in the district were at great relief due to the initiative.
