The prolonged closed community schools in Rautahat will come into operation physically from tomorrow.

Rautahat District Administration Office has directed community schools and private school operators to operate schools in-person after observing coronavirus cases. Following the directive of the DAO, schools in all 18 local levels of Rautahat will come into physical operation from tomorrow by following the basic health protocols. According to the DAO, a directive has been issued to all the schools to operate schools in-person as COVID-19 infections have been decreasing.

Chief of Education Development and Coordination Unit, Rautahat, Ram Binaya Kumar Singh has appealed to all the community and private schools to operate teaching-learning activities physically following heath safety measures. He said that the directives had been circulated and schools would operate as per the given directives. He further urged all to bring the schools into operation physically as students' future had become uncertain due to the prolonged restrictions.

Proprietor Bindu Chaudhary at Bal Niketen Secondary Residential School said in-person classes in Durga Bhagawati Rural Municipality had been brought into operation following health safety protocols for some days. Head teachers and other stakeholders have been working hard to operate schools physically.

Chief District Officer Indra Dev Yadav said authority was given to the local levels to decide whether or not to operate the schools physically.
