Kathmandu:

The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) today directed former Division Chief of the Village Residence Company Limited, Atma Ram Shrestha, to pay back Rs 1,66,225 he had withdrawn from the comapny’s fund as dashain and medical allowance. The CIAA issued the direction as per Clause 12 (a) of the CIAA Act, 1991. The anti-graft body also directed Kamal Karki of the same company to return Rs 30,000 he had withdrawan illegally.
