Restaurateurs to continue stir
Kathmandu, September 18:
Claiming that the police have continued crackdown on dance and cabin restaurants, Nepal Restaurant Entrepreneurs’ Association (NREA) today decided to continue its protest programmes.
“We have decided to organise a rally from Tinkune to Ratna Park tomorrow and continue the protest programmes,” NREA president said Manoj KC said adding around 1,200 restaurants were affiliated with the association. “DSP Bikash Khanal arrested Ranju Thapa, owner of Sangam Restaurant in Balaju, along with four workers today,” KC claimed. However, Khanal denied the charge.
President of Nepal Night Business Entrepreneurs’ Association Sameer Gurung urged the government to form a committee to resolve the problems.
