POKHARA: A rider succumbed to injuries and a pillion rider has been admitted to a hospital after the motorcycle they were riding on collided with a jeep in Pokhara on Wednesday afternoon.

The critically injured Ram Chandra Bagale (33) of Bagmara in Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Western Regional Hospital in Pokhara.

The Pokhara-bound jeep (Ga 1 Cha 8225) from Damauli collided with the motorcycle (Ga 4 Pa 9708) at Shanti Chok in Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolitan City- 27.

The pillion rider Shreeram Bhusal (20) is undergoing treatment at the same hospital.

Police have taken jeep driver in custody for investigation into the incident.
