DAMAULI, APRIL 23

Gandaki Province Office of the Chief Attorney has prepared a handbook to ease the delivery of justice in the province.

The handbook has been prepared for the judicial committee at the local level.

National Democratic Institute for International Affairs and USAID have funded the handbook.

Former chief judge of the high court Kesariraj Pandit and former high court judge Binod Sharma wrote the handbook.

Gandaki Province Chief Minister Krishna Chandra Nepali Pokhrel released the handbook at a programme organised in Pokhara today.

Pokhrel said that the constitution had vested judicial right to the local level to give the sense of government at the local level. He urged the judicial committee to rise above partisan and personal interest and deliver justice.

He asked the committee to forget political differences while delivering justice.
