King Gyanendra and Queen Komal received the civic reception at a programme organised today at district headquarters Baglung bazaar on the behalf of the local people of Baglung district.Earlier, chairman of district development committee (DDC) Tikaram Sapkota had offered the letter of felicitation to the royal couple. The letter of felicitation has mentioned the problems of transportation, electricity, drinking water and so on in the district. At the same time, the letter has drawn the attention of the royal couple towards Baglung-Burtiwang and Baglung-Myagdi-Jomsom roads, which are under the construction for a long time.After the programme was over, the royal couple had made an inspection visit at headquarters of Myagdi district Beni bazaar where the Maoists had attacked two weeks before. Then, the royal couple attending another civic reception programme organised in Mustang received the letter of felicitation from the locals of Mustang district.

DDC chairman of Mustang Nirmal Kumar Gauchan had offered the letter of felicitation to the royal couple.Likewise, the royal couple is scheduled to attend another civic reception to be organised tomorrow by the people of Tanahun district.
