Over Rs 50 million for quake-hit school building maintenance

DAMAULI: Over Rs 53.8 million was distributed to earthquake-affected community schools of Tanahun under the School Physical Reforms Programme.

The Tanahun District Education Office shared that the amount was granted for the maintenance of the earthquake-affected school building, girls' toilet and drinking water arrangement.

Addressing an orientation programme organised by the District Education Office, Tanahun, in Damauli on Thursday, District Education Officer Top Bahadur Shrestha urged all schools to utilise the resources in line with the target and objective.

As many as 200 participants including chairpersons and headmasters of primary level schools of the district took part at the programme.
