KATHMANDU, MARCH 7
Deepk Raj Bohara, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has won the House of Representatives elections in Nepal from Kanchanpur District Constituency-2 by a large margin.
Bohara secured 33,952 votes, while his nearest rival, Narayan Prakash Saud of the Nepali Congress, received 10,827 votes.
Meanwhile, Bachan Bahadur Singh of the Communist Party of Nepal (UML) obtained 6,418 votes, and Madhav Prasad Pant of the Nepali Communist Party garnered 6,337 votes.
Out of 109,574 registered voters in Kanchanpur-2, 64,881 cast their ballots in the election.
