The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has further expanded its lead in the ongoing vote count for the House of Representatives elections, now leading in 81 constituencies, according to the latest update from the Election Commission of Nepal.
The Commission's tally from 109 of the total 165 constituencies shows the RSP has won one seat and is leading in 81 others, indicating a strong early performance.
The Nepali Congress has won one seat and is leading in six constituencies, while the CPN-UML is leading in eight constituencies.
Similarly, the Nepali Communist Party is also leading in eight constituencies.
Among other parties, the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Progressive Democratic Party and Shram Sanskriti Party are each leading in one constituency, while one independent candidate, Mahabir Pun from Myagdi-1, is also ahead in the vote count.
