The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has strengthened its position in the ongoing vote count for the House of Representatives elections, now leading in 96 constituencies, according to the latest update from the Election Commission of Nepal.

The Commission's data from 135 of the total 165 constituencies shows the RSP has won one seat and is ahead in 96 others.

The Nepali Congress has won one seat and is leading in 11 constituencies, while the CPN-UML is leading in 10 constituencies.

Similarly, the Nepali Communist Party is ahead in nine constituencies.

Among other parties, the Shram Sanskriti Party is leading in three constituencies, while the Rastriya Prajatantra Party, Janata Samajbadi Party and Progressive Democratic Party are each leading in one constituency.

Independent candidate from Myagdi-1, Mahabir Pun, is also ahead in the vote count.
