Candidates of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have secured victories in several Kathmandu constituencies in the House of Representatives election.
According to the Election Commission Nepal, Sunil KC won from Kathmandu-2 with 34,238 votes, defeating Kabir Sharma of the Nepali Congress, who received 8,874 votes.
Similarly, Pukar Bam was elected from Kathmandu-4 with 29,142 votes, ahead of Nepali Congress candidate Sachin Timalsena, who secured 8,824 votes.
In Kathmandu-5, Sasmit Pokharel won the seat with 30,737 votes, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Pradeep Paudel, who received 9,159 votes.
RSP Vice-Chairperson Dol Prasad Aryal was elected from Kathmandu-9 with 35,093 votes, while Pradeep Bista secured victory in Kathmandu-10 with 37,469 votes.
Likewise, Ganesh Parajuli won the election from Kathmandu-7 with 27,805 votes.
