KATHMANDU, JULY 17
The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) has called for a parliamentary party meeting on Sunday afternoon.
It has been learnt that the meeting will commence from 2:00 pm tomorrow afternoon.
Following the appointment of its President Sher Bahadur Deuba as the new PM, this is the first parliamentary party meeting of the ruling NC.
The CPN-Maoist Center has also called a meeting of its parliamentary party (PP) on Sunday at Singha Durbar at 11 am Sunday.
The structure of the Council of Ministers in the Deuba government is yet to be ascertained and it is speculated that tomorrow's discussions will be held centered around the same issue.
Many NC leaders from both PM Deuba and Ram Chandra Poudel-led factions are hopeful of bagging responsibility of different ministries in the Deuba government.
Earlier, PM Deuba had said that he was wiling to provide UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal any ministry of his choice in his government as a good gesture for his support in forming the new government.
