KATHMANDU, OCTOBER 10

Two Russian climbers have successfully summited Lobuche Peak (6,119m) today morning, according to 14 Peaks Expeditions.

Aleksei Kozlov and Anastasiia Zhirnova reached the summit on Friday under the guidance of experienced mountaineer Fura Tshering Sherpa, the expedition said.

The expedition company extended its congratulations to the duo, praising their "determination, teamwork, and mountain spirit," and wished them success as they move ahead toward their next goal - the iconic Mt. Ama Dablam (6,812m).
