Member Secretary of Royal Nepal Academy (RNA) Dr Tulsi Prasad Bhattarai felicitated Basudev Sapkota, Headmaster of Guheshwari Lower Secondary School, by honouring him with a shawl around him in a function held here today to mark 35th anniversary of the school.Mr Bhattarai also felicitated founder members of the school, Narendra Raut, Khadka Bahadur Karki and Nanda Kumar Neupane by presenting them letters of appreciation in recognition of their valuable contribution to the school.On the occasion, RNA Member-secretary Dr Bhattarai said if cooperation from all quarters of the society is extended, quality of education can be enhanced.Lakhan VDC chairman Bhoj Kumar Ghimire also spoke on the problems of public schools at the function chaired by programme coordinator Padma Niraula. Dr Bhattarai also inaugurated a stage constructed on the premises of the school at an outlay of Rs 19,906. The fund was raised from the ex-students of the school. Similarly, Dr Bhattarai honoured litterateurs Dr Narendra Chapagain, Aniruddha Timsina, SL Sharma and Daksha Raj Sharma at the second annual general meeting of Sahitya Kala Sangathan, Damak.
