RAJBIRAJ: A man was fatally hit by a microbus at Sambhunath Municipality in Saptari district on Tuesday.

The District Police Office, Saptari, identified the victim as Dharmendra Chaudhary (26) of Madhupatti-8, Saptari.

Police said Chaudhary had sustained critical injuries when the four-wheeler (Ba 3 Kha 8460) hit him at 1:45 pm today. He breathed his last while being taken to the Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, a 52-year-old woman, identified as Kaushalya Devi Gupta, apparently committed suicide by hanging herself to a support used to hang ceiling fan at her house in Rajbiraj-7.
