RAJBIRAJ: Nepal Police arrested an Indian national in possession of illegal gold and silver worth Rs 1.25 million from Saptari district.

Identified as Mohammad Mohim of Kolkata, the man was carrying gold biscuit that weighed 20 tola and 5 kg raw silver.

He was detained by a team of security personnel at Rayapur-7 of the district on Sunday evening.

Police said the suspect along with the seized metals has been handed over to the Eastern Revenue Office, Itahari, for further investigation and action.
