KATHMANDU, NOVEMBER 21
The Supreme Court is set to re-hear the case concerning the salary adjustment of civil servants.
A full bench comprising Chief Justice Prakash Man Singh Raut and Justices Kumar Chudal and Nityanand Pandey granted permission for a review of the matter today.
Joint Attorney Govinda Khanal had filed a request for a review, raising key concerns regarding the number of public servants affected by the adjustment, the associated costs, the state of government revenue, and the additional expenditure the adjustment would entail.
The review permission follows the Supreme Court's earlier decision in late June this year and has been granted under clause (b) 2 of Section 11 of the Administration of Justice Act, 2073 BS.
