School handed over

JHAPA:  A Japanese couple handed over a new structure constructed at a cost of  Rs 10 million to Saraswoti Secondary School at Buttabari of Jhapa on  Monday.

The couple named the block as Herota Dream and handed it over to  the school. The school has students from low income families.

Tosiro  Herota and Hyatsuy Herota constructed the four-room structure in  coordination with Japan Team of Young Human Power and Chandragadi,  Jhapa-based Ghanashyam Foundation.

The couple handed over the building’s  key  along with necessary furniture, podium, white board and other  materials to Raju Jung Kangdangwa, chairperson of the school management  committee, at a function on Monday.

School teachers, students and social  activists felicitated the philanthropist couple and lauded their  selfless contribution to the development of education in Nepal.
