Second phase polls still in limbo: Nepal
KATHMANDU: CPN-UML senior leader and former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the second phase elections scheduled for June 14 are still in limbo.
Speaking at a programme organised to handover the office to the newly elected officials of the FNJ, Kathmandu chapter on Thursday, leader Nepal said that the second phase of elections are still in confusion however, some positive vibes were increasing regarding the first phase elections.
He suggested to hold the second phase elections before new budget on May 29. Main opposition party's leader Nepal also termed the Sanghiya Samajbadi Forum Nepal's decision of participating in local polls as positive.
Speaking at the same programme, FNJ central secretary Prabhat Chalaune had opined for developing the FNJ as common institute to all journalists.
