Secretary Joshi resigns
Kathmandu: Secretary Janak Raj Joshi on Sunday tendered his resignation from his post expressing dissatisfaction over the appointment of the chief secretary. Cabinet meeting on Friday had decided to appoint Madhav Ghimire as the chief secretary at Prime Minister’s Office. Joshi was one among three who were in the running for the chief secretary’s post. Joshi complained that the procedure of the appointment was biased and he should have been promoted to the top post, as he was the senior-most among the three secretaries.
