Security guards’ concern

Birgunj, August 3:

The Nepal Security Guards’ Union today voiced concern about increasing incidents of attack on security guards working in industrial units of Parsa.

In a release, central member of the union Basu Baral said members of the union were being attacked in a “concerted and premeditated manner.”

The release urged the Birgunj Chambers of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) to take a clear stand on the issue. Among other things, the security guards have also demanded that they be given permanent jobs and a pay scale of Rs 4,100 per month.
