Phidim, November 15:

Seven persons were injured when inebriated locals of Ludintar-1 of Prangbung VDC attacked each other with knives in course of the Bhaitika fair last night, the police said.

Rai, who sustained injuries in his throat, was taken to the Panchthar hospital for treatment today. Rai is in a critical condition, a source at the hospital said. The police nabbed Rajan Rai and Machhindra Rai for involvement in the incident.

Meanwhile, Narahari Acharya, 53, of Siwa-3 of Panchthar was critically hurt when inebriated locals Shankar Mukhiya and Laxmi Prasad Tamang thrashed him yesterday.
