At least seven people were killed and 105 others injured in road accidents reported across Nepal over the past 24 hours, according to Nepal Police.
Police data show that the highest number of fatalities was recorded in Koshi Province, where two people lost their lives and 31 others were injured in separate road accidents.
Madhesh Province reported one death and 35 injuries, while Bagmati and Gandaki provinces each recorded one fatality. Gandaki reported no injuries, whereas Karnali Province recorded one injury without any fatalities.
In Kathmandu Valley, no deaths were reported, but 18 people sustained injuries in road accidents. Lumbini Province recorded five injuries without any fatalities, while Sudurpashchim Province reported six injuries and no deaths.
