KATHMANDU: A seven-year-old girl died on the spot after being hit by a tractor at Khormor in Simalpani-1 of Arghakhanchi district on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Asmita Magar, daughter of Dev Bahadur Chedi Magar of Simalpani.

Asmita was hit by the tractor (Lu 3 Ta 4576) at around 6:45 pm yesterday.

Police said that they have arrested the tractor driver for investigation.
