The first convention of the Mechi-Mahakali Media Society (MMMS) has elected a 13-member new body headed by Madhav Sharma as its president. The convention has elected Arjunmani Poudel as general secretary of the new executive committee. Madan Dhakal from Mechi, Kishor Karki from Koshi, Baidyanath Jha from Sagarmatha, Rabindra Shah from Janakpur, Shurendra Pande from Narayani, Dipendra Shrestha from Gandaki, Bal Krishna Chapagain from Lumbini, Harinarayan Gautam from Dhaulagiri, Narendra KC from Rapti, Manmohan Swar from Seti and Khem Bhandari from Mahakali have been members. Three other members and officials will be nominated later after the meeting of the MMMS.
