Nima Dorjee Sherpa, a 26-year-old Sherpa artist, is making waves at the base camp of the world's highest mountain, Mt Everest, with his unique tattoo shop. Since its inception on May 5, 2023, Sherpa.Ink has been breaking down barriers and challenging the stereotype of Sherpas as simply mountaineers.

Originally from Pangboche, Solukhumbu, Nima Dorjee Sherpa spent the past six years honing his tattooing skills in the vibrant city of Pokhara. However, he wanted to push the boundaries further and showcase the diverse talents and passions of the Sherpa people. With a deep desire to defy stereotypes and prove that Sherpas excel in various endeavors other than the mountaineering, Nima embarked on a remarkable journey to establish a tattoo shop in the iconic Everest Base Camp.

Amidst the awe-inspiring Himalayan peaks, Nima merges the natural beauty of the Everest landscape with the personal stories, dreams, and triumphs of his clients in the tatoo ink. His tattoo designs becoming lasting testaments to the indomitable spirit that resides within each individual.

But Nima's talents don't stop at tattooing; he also offers grooming services as a barber, ensuring that visitors leave Everest Base Camp not only with a meaningful tattoo but also with a fresh haircut, feeling renewed and prepared to conquer their own personal summits.
