Sigh of relief for Saptari flood victims
RAJBIRAJ: As many as 400 families of flood victims in Sakarpura-4 of Saptari district have felt a sigh of relief, though short, after receiving necessary medical services from health workers.
The health workers from Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital have also distributed foodstuffs with health advices.
Likewise, a Nepal Army team has distributed relief materials in Koiladi Barsain and Rampura Malhaniya of the district.
The relief included foodstuffs and clothes.
Meanwhile, the Saptari District Public Health Office has deployed health workers as an aid with an aim to prevent epidemics that may break out due to polluted floodwater in the district.
The flood has left locals of the affected areas panic-stricken.
