Sino-Nepal ties pleasant, says Minister Mainali

The Minister for Education and Sports, Radha Krishna Mainali, today said 50 years of friendly relationship between Nepal and China has been pleasant. Mainali was addressing a gathering after he inaugurated an interaction on ‘China’s contribution to Nepalese health sector’ organised jointly by the BP Koirala Memorial Cancer Hospital, Bharatpur, and the China Study Centre, Kathmandu, here. Mainali expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for the assistance it has been providing to Nepal’s health, road, industrial and education sectors. “We want to include the Chinese language in the school curriculum with support of the Chinese government if possible,” he said.
The executive director of the hospital, Bal Maan Singh Karki, government-nominated chairman
of the Chitwan District Development Committee, Tej Prasad Bartaula, chairman of the China Study Centre, Madan Regmi and Health Sub Director of Hanoi Region of China, Sun Hong Jing, also addressed the programme presided over by the chairman of the cancer hospital’s management committee, Mahendra Bahadur Karki.
