POKHARA: Two sisters were killed when a school bus hit their scooter at 6:30 am on Tuesday at Ranipauwa, Pokhara.

The deceased have been identified as Sita Khawas 24, and Jiya Khawas 20, residents of Kavre.

According to the police the bodies have been kept at Western Regional Hospital for postmortem. They added that Sita was going to drop off her sister to her college when the incident occurred. They further added that the driver and the bus are in police custody.

Sita Khawas was a computer operator at District Public Health Office, Kaski.
