Sitaula seeks new consensus to address Tarai dissatisfaction

BIRATNAGAR: Nepali Congress General Secretary Krishna Prasad Sitaula has stressed on new consensus to address dissatisfaction seen in the Tarai region.

Talking to mediapersons at Biratnagar Airport today, leader Sitaula urged the government to take immediate initiatives to remove obstructions at Indo-Nepal border points.

He added that the candidates for the posts of President and Vice-President from the party would be finalised after holding discussions with different parties as these posts would have long impacts in national politics.

Meanwhile, leader Sitaula is scheduled to address the party cadres' meeting in Dharan of Sunsari district.
