Six injured in clash

JAJARKOT: At least six people were injured after a clash erupted between Nepali Congress and left alliance cadres on the eve of the provincial and parliamentary polls at Dinkushe Rural Municipality in Jajarkot on Saturday.

Police said the cadres clashed over the issue of election at around 10:00 pm yesterday. Roshan Rokaya of NC and Prem Rokaya, Mohan Singh, Prakash Singh, Mahendra Singh and Durga Singh from the left alliance were injured in the clash. Police said Prem’s condition was critical.

Preparations to send Prem to Nepalgunj-based health facility for further treatment is under way, said police.
