The most updated details regarding the health of the injured Nepalis in yesterday's incident have been made public by the Nepali Embassy in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The condition of the injured Nepalis was described in a statement released by the embassy today.

Missile debris fell in the Abjan neighbourhood of Abu Dhabi yesterday, injuring seven Nepali citizens. It was reported that one of them was in critical condition.

The Abu Dhabi Media Office took to X and said: "As part of the ongoing follow-up to the previously reported incident in the Ajban area caused by falling debris following the successful interception by air defence systems, authorities confirm that the incident has resulted in minor to moderate injuries sustained by six individuals of Nepali nationality and five individuals of Indian nationality and one major injury sustained by an individual of Nepali nationality."

It further added, "The public is reminded to obtain information only from official sources and to avoid spreading rumours or unverified information."

Six of them have been released from the hospital following standard treatment, according to the embassy's most recent information. The hospital is currently treating one of the seriously injured. His condition is currently safe, according to the embassy.

The injured patient receiving treatment at the hospital has reportedly stated that he will probably be released shortly, according to the embassy. The embassy has made it clear that it is constantly trying to help and coordinate with the injured. The embassy has advised all Nepali nationals to abide by the security directives issued by the UAE government in light of the most recent developments in West Asia.

Additionally, the embassy has advised staying vigilant and relying only on information from official sources.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs previously reported the arrest of 11 Nepalis in West Asian countries amidst the ongoing conflict. Three people were arrested in the UAE, four in Saudi Arabia, three in Qatar and one in Oman. The countries in West Asia that have been at war have been cracking down on false information that is spreading on social media. Those countries have said that people who spread false information on social media will be punished in different ways, such as being arrested or deported.

According to the UAE Ministry of Defence, since the beginning of the blatant Iranian attacks, UAE air defences have engaged 498 ballistic missiles, 23 cruise missiles and 2,141 UAVs.

The attacks resulted in the martyrdom of two members of the armed forces while performing their national duty, as well as the martyrdom of a Moroccan civilian contracted by the Armed Forces, and the deaths of 10 Pakistani, Nepali, Bangladeshi, Palestinian, Indian and Egyptian citizens, as per the UAE Ministry of Defence.

A total of 217 people were injured, ranging from minor to moderate to severe. People from Nepal, UAE, Sudan, Ethiopia, the Philippines, Pakistan, Iran, India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Azerbaijan, Yemen, Uganda, Eritrea, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Bahrain, the Comoros, Turkey, Iraq, Nigeria, Oman, Jordan, Palestine, Ghana, Indonesia, Sweden, Tunisia, Morocco and Russia were among those injured.
