DAMAULI: Six persons were injured in separate accidents in Tanahun, on Wednesday. Five persons including the driver were injured when a car met with an accident near Panitanki, in Bandipur municipality. Driver Dipak Majakoti, 31, of Byas municipality, along with Milan Gurung, 28, Pulan Gurung, 28, Tirtha Gurung, 36, and Niru Gurung, 35, were injured. Phulan and Thirtha have been sent to Pokhara for treatment, the others are undergoing treatment at a local hospital in Dumre. The accident occurred when the speeding car skidded off the road and rammed into a house. In another incident a minor was seriously injured when he fell on the road while travelling in the back of a truck. The child is undergoing treatment at the local health facility. His condition is said to be critical.  Police have detained the driver and investigation is on.
