KAPILVASTU: A child died in a fire that broke out in Singraha village of Kajarahawa VDC-9 of the Kapilvastu district on Wednesday. The six-year-old Sandip Nau died in the incident, police said.

The fire that originated from the house of Ram Milan Gosain engulfed around 30 houses and huts nearby, Superintendent of Police Bishnu Kumar KC said.

Police with the help of locals worked together to put out the fire.
